How to Create a Backyard Water Park
The summer months are always enjoyable for children and their parents when it isn't too hot. For some families who don't have pools, the summer heat may get to be a bit much. On those hazy days, turn your backyard into a water park. With just a few inexpensive items, the backyard water park may become the most exciting part of your summer.

1
Purchase two or three plastic baby pools or inflatable pools. This depends on the age of your children. If your children are toddlers, the baby pools are ideal. For older children, many stores carry inflatable pools in bigger sizes.
-
2
Buy one creative sprinkler. You can easily find a sprinkler that does interesting things at retailers near you.
-
-
3
Get some water toys to fill up the pools. Possible items include rubber ducks, plastic cups, plastic people and water balloons.
-
4
Consider a child slide that folds up when you are not using it. By putting the slide into one of the pools, it creates more fun for the children.
-
5
Set up your backyard water park. You may ask your children to help you set up so that they can implement their own ideas.
-
6
Create a design for your backyard water park that includes all of the items that you purchased. Set up the sprinkler in the middle of the pools if possible.
-
7
Fill up your pools, and attach the sprinkler to your hose.
-
8
Invite your children's friends over to enjoy the backyard water park.
