How to Replace Snap-On Tools

When you buy Snap-on tools, you expect them to work and work well. But if you need a product replacement for any reason, Snap-on is happy to work with you. Here are the details to get a defective product replaced under warranty.

        Return your Snap-on tool within the first 30 days for any reason. This gives you the maximum warranty coverage. Snap-on will replace the product or give you a full refund of the purchase price.

        Request the shipping charges be refunded as well on defective tools or if you were shipped the incorrect item. This is only for the first 30 days from when you took delivery of the product.

        Call Snap-on Tools E-business at (877) 762-7664 to discuss product replacement and request a "Return Goods Authorization (RGA)" form.

        Email Snap-on at eorders@snapon.com to request the RGA form to complete for the return and replacement of your tools.

        Fill out the RGA form and follow the instructions to have replacement of your tools sent to you.

        Ship your defective tools by UPS or Parcel Post. Snap-on requires prepaid insurance on the return shipment.

        Allow at least 1 business day for Snap-on to process the RGA form after they receive it and an additional 5 to 7 business days for the replacement tools to arrive.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If you need to return any Snap-o gear, simply return your product with all the packaging and tags intact within the first 30 days from delivery. You will be refunded the purchase price and tax on the item less any shipping charges.

    • These instructions are for items purchased from the snapon.com website. If you purchased Snap-on tools from a local store, call them to arrange for product replacement.

    • Snap-on will not accept returns sent C.O.D.
