It is still common today to see twins dressed identically. Even though twins may be fraternal, mothers find it exciting and perhaps easier to dress them alike. 2. Browse through the aisles, and find a style of clothing that fits the personality of the twins. If a specific shirt fits the personality of one of the twins, look around to find another shirt that is similar.

3. Look for ways that the clothing can be similar. When your child chooses a specific shirt color, ask the other twin which color shirt he would like of the same style. If one of the twins likes tank tops but other doesn't, find another shirt to match the color of the tank top.

4. Consider their personalities when choosing pants as well. If you have one twin that likes skirts and the other likes pants, choose the same color of both items to make the kids look similar when you dress them.

5. Accessorize your twins similarly. Even if the twins decide on very distinct clothes from one another, they may like the same style hat, shoes and other accessories. These items can make the twins look similar, but still show off their individual personalities.
