The big day is quickly approaching. You've picked the place, the people, the flowers, the food, but now, now it's just about you and how you look. And suddenly that strange creeping feeling washes over you. You know your butt is one size larger than cute; you're just not sure how to shrink it. Don't fret. Here's how to get a nice butt for your wedding.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Count your calories. Your butt is mostly made of fat. Therefore losing weight will reduce your overall body fat and thus the size of your butt. Even if you're known for having "junk in the trunk," less of you means less of your butt. Reduce your caloric intake to 1,500 calories a day for females and 2,000 calories a day for males. This number may vary based on height. Check out a B.M.I. (body mass index) by typing your stats into search engines and calculating your target weight. Reducing your ideal caloric intake by 500 per day will yield 1 to 2 lbs. per week.
Step2
Exercise your out-of-shape booty. This comes down to cardio and strength training. Change your workout up and begin the process at least 3 weeks before the big day. Alternate between running 4 miles at a comfortable speed on the treadmill, using the elliptical for 20 minutes and using the exercise bike for 30 minutes at a low resistance. (Rest on the 4th day and repeat.) Also perform reverse leg lifts and, if you're so inclined, squeeze your butt together throughout the day for 3 sets of 20 repetitions.
Step3
Sweat out the weight. Our bodies are mostly made of water. So, it stands to reason that a trip to the sauna will drop that extra pound or two before the big day. But be sure to drink plenty of water before entering the sauna and do not stay in that environment for more than 20 minutes. If you're pregnant, skip this step.
Step4
Strap it up. Okay, this is cheating just slightly, but defining moments in your life call for serious answers. Wear underwear that supports and lifts the buttocks in your dress (or pants for guys). No flabby granny panties here. This is about "rise and shine." Some corsets even extend from the buttocks to the torso; consider these if your stomach and buttocks need a bit of help.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always consult your physician before starting a new workout or diet plan.
