1
Keep the information brief. Remember that in the world of presentations, less is usually more. It's easy to overwhelm your audience with information overload. Underscore a few main points with dramatic graphics.
-
2
Avoid awkward moments. By default, clicking the right mouse button brings up a menu instead of displaying the previous slide. To avoid this awkward moment in a presentation, set the right mouse click to display the previous screen. In the Tools menu, under Options, select "View" and clear the popup menu.

3
Make your layout more attractive by using a master page. A master page lets you arrange the background, fonts, and formats used for every slide, giving the presentation a unified look. Go to "Master Page" under the View menu.
-
4
Make your presentation sexy. Add a custom animation to the background or foreground to give your presentation some life.
-
5
Add your voice to the presentation. Run the slide show on your computer and use a microphone to record your comments to each slide. In the Slide Show menu, click "Record Narration." Rerecord as necessary to achieve the desired effect.
-
6
Easily update customized presentations. Save different, smaller versions of the presentation as "custom shows." Update any slide once and have those updates automatically made to all custom shows. In the Slide Show menu, click "Custom Shows" for this option.
