In today's hectic and on the move world, being able to access our email often and from places other than our homes has become a necessity for most of us. There are ways to access email from virtually anywhere that you can find access to the Internet. This process will work for most POP3 mail accounts.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Email account and password.

Step1
Make sure you know the address of your email account and the password to access that account.
Step2
Go to mail2web.com. This will allow you to access your mail account from virtually anywhere.
Step3
Enter your email address and password in the form and click the "Check email" button.
Step4
Await recognition of your email account server and retrieval of your messages.
Step5
Open and read your new mail or refer to a message that you have saved in your inbox.
Step6
Log-off the site to prevent anyone else from reading your mail after you have left the computer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you check the box in your email program that saves a copy of the mail on the server. This will allow you to refer back to a message you received previously. This is done by selecting the option found at Tools>Options>Incoming Mail>Leave Mail on Server.
