When you maintain your featherbed properly, it will give you many years of soft comfort and pleasure. A featherbed also helps to maintain a person's body temperature throughout the night, giving you a restful night's sleep. It is easy to extend its life with proper care.

  • Featherbed cover
  • Vacuum
  • Damp sponge
  • Clothes line
  1. Step 1

    Cover your featherbed with a featherbed cover to keep it cleaner. The featherbed cover is easy to remove and launder.

  2. Step 2

    Shake your featherbed vigorously to fluff it.

  3. Step 3

    Vacuum your featherbed at least twice a month to maintain your mattress and remove any dust that has accumulated on it.

  4. Step 4

    Spot clean your featherbed with a damp sponge and hang your featherbed over a clean clothes line to dry the spot that you cleaned.
