Instructions

    Buy Superbowl Tickets

  1. Step 1

Follow the NFL playoffs to learn which teams will compete in the Super Bowl, as well as when tickets will go on sale.

  2. Step 2

Locate the stadium box office and Ticketmaster URLs and telephone numbers.

  3. Step 3

Locate trustworthy online vendors. These individuals purchase tickets from box offices, season-ticket holders and other individuals.

  4. Step 4

Buy Super Bowl tickets ahead of time by taking advantage of tour or travel packages. Browse the ticket-broker sites to find packages.

  5. Step 5

Locate an online fan-to-fan ticket source. Try eBay, craigslist and similar websites (see Resources below).

  6. Step 6

Hammer box offices and ticket brokers by phone or on the Internet when tickets go on sale.

  7. Step 7

Buy the Super Bowl tickets that you find right away, or they will disappear quickly. Use the form of payment and delivery options specified by the vendor.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get all your ducks in a row before tickets go on sale. If you don't hit the box offices and secondary sources immediately, your chances of getting tickets will diminish.
  • Find out when tickets will be released for sale via individual team or Ticketmaster websites.
  • Select a secondary ticket broker who cites a money-back guarantee. Also, look for a broker with a membership in the Better Business Bureau or National Association of Ticket Brokers.
  • Make sure your tickets are legitimate by learning as much as possible about the upcoming Super Bowl. If the date, time and venue aren't right, don't buy the tickets.
  • Refunds are unlikely. Your tickets will be expensive, promising a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so don't miss out. Review all the details before you complete your purchase.
  • Don't break the law just to get great Super Bowl tickets. Make sure your seller is offering tickets within the guidelines of applicable laws.

on 2/3/2008 freeticketexchange.com is also a great resource. they do not charge additional fees and it's gives the buyer the ability to make offers and name their price. I'll use craigslist and freeticketexchange.com together and have the seller post their tickets on freeticketexchange, so I am protected.
