Hash Brown Potatoes, Western Style, made with tater tots and left-overs for speed and crispness!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 bag of tater tots Chopped veggies (onion, green or red peppers, mushrooms) all optional. Chopped, cooked meats (bacon, cubed ham, crumbled sausage) all optional Your choice of cheese
  1. Step 1

Place tater tots on a baking sheet and cook as directed on the package, to desired crispness.

  2. Step 2

While they crisp, chop your choice of any or all of these; onions, green and red peppers, cooked bacon, sausage, or cubed ham. Grate up your choice of cheese (I use cheddar).

  3. Step 3

When the potatoes are done put them in a casserole dish. Chop them up with the side of a spatula as you go. Add chopped veggies and/or meats. Mix together and pat them down into the casserole dish. Add cheese to top and microwave to melt or broil to brown the cheese, whichever you prefer.
