A few circular objects (circles of wood, plastic lids ect.)
Red, yellow and black outdoor paint.

It's important that the colors match exactly. Something about the red-yelow-black combination scares magpies off.
Prepare your Magpie deterents thusly:

Drill a hole in each bullseye.
Step3
Hang the bullseyes around your yard. Something about the color combination and pattern seems to frighten the magpies and other corvids.
Tips & Warnings
Make sure you use outdoor paint, or it will be washed off by rain.
