In this article, I'll be showing you how to make wonderful fabric pockets for your scrapbooking layouts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

There are lots of fun colors and patterns when it comes to fabric, which I think is just wonderful! To start making your fabric pocket, first cut the fabric you've selected into the size you want your pocket to be.

  2. Step 2

In my previous articles on making pockets for your scrapbooking layouts I showed you how to secure your pockets by cutting foam mounting squares into strips. However, when it comes to fabric, the hot glue gun works better. Therefore, in this step you simply need to attach your fabric pocket to the background of your scrapbooking layout using your hot glue gun.

  3. Step 3

Be careful, as the hot glue gun can get very hot, but also be sure to firmly press the fabric down before the glue has too much time to cool while attaching your fabric to your background. And, now you have a wonderful fabric pocket for your scrapbooking layout!

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful working with the hot glue gun
  • Be sure to press the fabric firmly into the background before the glue has too much time to cool or your fabric may not stick well
