Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Cooked Chicken
- Cutting board preferably with grooves to hold the juice from running off the table.
- Carving Fork and knife set
- Platter
Step1
Chicken fork
Chicken fork has long prongs to hold body still.
Step2
Chicken on cutting board, knife holding chicken still, carving breast meat with knife.
Place the cooked chicken at the center of your cutting board. Have the platter nearby. Make sure everything is very clean.
Step3
Next carve the breast with downward strokes in layers and arrange on platter.
Step4
Cutting Wings
Hold the chicken firmly with the fork and then slice down in the joint of where the wing meets the body as shown in image. Arrange on platter and then do the same for the other side.
Step5
Cutting thigh and leg meat.
Hold the chicken firmly and then slice down in the joint of where the thigh meets the body. Next separate the lower leg portion from the thigh. Arrange on platter and then do the same for the other side.
Step6
Do not serve the bones that are left. Put them away and snack on the meat that is left or make a soup stock from it. Enjoy your dinner!
