How to Regrow Eyebrows

The main physical function of the eyebrows is to prevent moisture, mostly salty sweat and rain, from flowing into your eyes.

• Vitamin E
• Rogaine Extra Strength
• Q-Tip
• Eyebrow pencil to match your eyebrow color

1. Your eyebrow hair is virtually all protein. Few people in the United States have protein deficiencies. If you know of a deficiency in either protein needs or other essential vitamins, for normal growth you will want to replenish those vitamins.
   Vitamin A, C, B3, and E are all helpful in stimulating hair growth. Folic acid tablets will also stimulate hair folicals.

2. 

   Brush your eyebrow area with an inexpensive eyebrow brush for 2 minutes. Brush in the direction that your eyebrow hairs grow, up and out toward the side of your face. This brushing will stimulate the area and help to speed growth.

   Repeat this at least twice a day.

3. Put a small amount of Rogaine Extra Strength in the cap. (Rogaine is a hair growth product specifically identified for MEN. However, for this use, it can be used for either men or women.)

   Dip a Q-tip in it, and lightly brush over the eyebrow area being careful to not get any in your eye.

   Apply twice a day until eyebrows fill in. Rogaine will help regrow eyebrows at a faster pace, but the process will still take at least a few weeks.

   When your eyebrows are growing to your satisfaction, slow your applications of Rogaine down until you are using only twice a week. Maintain this application rate for at least a month before discontinuing. You can then evaluate whether or not you need continued applications based on your results.

4. If you eyebrow area is simply light in certain areas, you can fill the area in temporarily by using an eyebrow pencil. For best results, draw in multiple short thin lines rather than one heavy line. Be sure to match the color closely to your normal eyebrow color. When complete, spray with eyebrow sealer.

5. In the event of total eyebrow loss, due to chemotherapy, etc., there are options:

   You can draw entire eyebrow on with pencil. Use same technique called for above. Using the eyebrow sealant is important to keep your drawing from being rubbed off during the day particularly if you draw the whole eyebrow in.
