How to Use a Labtec Camera

A Labtec camera is one of the many digital cameras available today. Founded in 1982, Labtec states that's mission is to be "leading provider of value-priced peripherals and accessories for computing, communication and entertainment." Read this eHow to learn how to use one of Labtec's fine cameras.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Install two AA batteries in the compartment for the batteries (located on the bottom right of the Labtec camera with the lens facing out).
Step2
Loop the thin end of the strap through the eyelet, and pass the thicker end of the strap through the loop. Pull until the strap is secure.
Step3
Choose how you wish to store your images in the Labtec camera: with either the flash memory that comes with the camera or SD/MMC memory card. If you use the memory card, the flash memory will be disabled.
Step4
Turn the camera on.
Step5
Press either the up or down key to adjust the focus.
Step6
Frame the image you wish to take, and press the shutter button.
Step7
View the images on the LCD screen.
Step8
Review images already taken by pressing the mode button, then selecting Playback Mode.
Step9
Connect your Labtec camera to your computer by installing the camera's driver then restarting the computer.
Step10
Install the software for the Labtec camera after the computer restarts.
Step11
Sync your Labtec camera to the computer with the included USB cable, and download the images you have taken.
