Create good fortune in your life with the principles of Feng Shui. A bagua map is used to identify areas in your home that correspond to the nine key areas in your life. Knowing how to read a bagua map can help you improve upon certain areas in your life. Change elements in these areas to change aspects in your life.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Match the front of the map to the main entrance of your home. The map is laid out in a box containing nine squares in rows and columns of three down and three across.
Step2
Read the first row of the map. The front left corner of your home is the area for knowledge and wisdom. Front center corresponds to your career, and the front right hand corner of your home is the area for helpful people. This area encourages helpful people such as clients, mentors and friends to come into your life.
Step3
Interpret the middle row as follows. In the middle left side is the area for family and friends. Centered in the middle of your home is the health and wellbeing area. To the middle right side sits the creativity and children area.
Step4
Look at the back of your home to find the last three key areas. In the back left corner sits the wealth and prosperity area. The center back of your home is the area for fame and reputation, and the back right corner is for love and relationships.
Step5
Find the area in your life that you would like to improve upon. Look at Feng Shui principles to find things to add to these areas to create good fortune. You may need to clear clutter or take some things away that are creating bad luck as well. Have fun using your bagua map to create the life you want.
