Things You'll Need:
- Newspaper end rolls
- Bratz color books
- Black marker
- Crayons
- Confetti
- Metallic streamers
- Metallic helium balloons
- Birthday banner
-
Step 1
Buy white card stock with envelopes. Print your party information on the invitations or write each one out individually. Add glitter, faux fur, sparkle stickers and gems sequins from a craft or fabric store.
-
Step 2
Glam up each envelope using colored pens and markers. Purchase glitter pens or glue faux fur, sequins, stickers, gems or glitter to each envelope. Have the birthday girl help put stamps on each.
-
Step 3
Write special messages on each card inviting each guest by name with a glitter pen or paint pen. Address on the envelopes with the glitter pen, and send the invitations at least two week prior to the party.
-
Step 1
Buy inexpensive little purses at a discount store or at the Oriental Trading Company website.
-
Step 2
Fill each purse with little plastic toy jewelery, including necklaces and rings. Look for children's sunglasses at a discount store.
-
Step 3
Put a small notepad in each purse, and find fancy fur-topped or glitter pens to add. Anything glitzy will work.
-
Step 4
Include a small play cell phone in the purse if you can find them online or at a discount or party store.
-
Step 5
Add a tiara for each girl to wear. Make the birthday girl's tiara extra special, different and bigger than the rest.
-
Step 1
Put out a selection of eye shadows, lipsticks and nail polish on a make up table. Help your party guests put on make up like the Bratz.
-
Step 2
Make a dressing room area in a separate room for guests to find that perfect glamour outfit to wear. Put out a selection of dresses, pants, shirts and scarves. You can find ideas in your closet, old boxes of clothes or at second hand stores.
-
Step 3
Set up a stage area complete with karaoke machine, music and microphone. If you don't own a machine, consider renting one from a local rental store.
-
Step 4
Get out the video recorder, and have the girls put on a show you can record and they can watch later.
-
Step 1
Get table coverings at your local newspaper office. Ask them for end rolls of paper. Sometimes they even give them away. Use a Bratz color book for pictures to trace onto the paper and put it on the tables as a table cloth. Set out boxes of crayons to keep the guests busy coloring.
-
Step 2
Remember to decorate for glamour. Use metallic streamers, Flashy confetti and Happy Birthday banners.
-
Step 3
Buy plain pink and purple plastic utensils. Use a glitter marker or paint marker to draw dots and lines on the utensils to glitz them up.
-
Step 4
Decorate the ceiling with white Christmas lights, bridal netting used for weddings, lots of ribbon and streamers.
-
Step 5
Put bunches of helium metallic purple and pink balloons around the birthday party location. Try to have enough balloons so each guest can take one home after the party.

on 10/26/2008 Sounds fun, I hope I'm invited. I especially liked the idea of decorating the pink and purple plastic forks. Cool
