Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Moisturizer
- Non-abrasive soap
- Antiperspirant
Step1
Apply moisturizer to dry, irritated skin that can result from chafing in cold weather or sports related rubbing.
Step2
Eat foods that are less oily or spicy when sweating or oily skin is a problem. Drink plenty of water as it naturally flushes toxins from the body. Maintain a well balanced diet with lots of vitamins and minerals to keep your skin healthy.
Step3
Clean skin with a mild soap once a day. Using an abrasive soap designed to get rid of oil actually can hurt a teen's skin. Some oil is needed to maintain normal skin conditions.
Step4
Use a strong antiperspirant for excessive sweating. An antiperspirant actually clogs sweat pores so the sweat doesn't reach the skin surface.
Step5
See a doctor when your teen has any type of warts on his body. The doctor may recommend freezing them off or removing them with laser treatment. Warts usually go away on their own, but it takes a few years for them to vanish.
