If you find the charm of Annalee Dolls irresistible, indulge in a collection. Collecting these American-made dolls can bring years of joy to your home, building memories for your children and grandchildren. The Mobilitee dolls are moderately priced compared to other hobby dolls. Each handcrafted Annalee doll is unique.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Decide how you will grow your collection. Aside from Annalee thimbles and Christmas ornaments, there are several different lines of Mobilitee dolls: Christmas, Club, Easter, Halloween, Harvest, Irish Celebration, Special Occasion, Spring, Valentine and Romance. There are different items for each of these lines each year starting in 2000. Decide if you want to collect by line, year or simply start with the ones you like the most.
Step2
View the dolls online at AnnaleeGallery.com to see which you like best. You can also find a complete collection at TonisCollectibles.com.
Step3
See Annalee dolls in person by finding the Annalee retailer nearest you. A store locator is available at Annalee.com. You also can find outlets on this website.
Step4
Find the best price by comparing your local retailer to online stores, including Ebay. Note, however, that since each Annalee doll is handmade, there may be some variation between what you see in the store and what you buy online, so if you're in love with an Annalee carried by a local establishment, you might want to buy it there.
Step5
Join the Annalee Doll Society collector's club and get involved in online message boards to stay on top of new products and meet others who share your passion for Annalee. An active Annalee message board is available at WorldCollectorsNet.com.
