How to Join the International Show Car Association

If you are a show car enthusiast you know about the International Show Car Association. They have been around since 1965 and have given a place for guys to display their automotive works of art all over the United States and Canada for the last 40 years. Joining the International Show Car association is easy. Here is how to become a member.

1. Navigate the ISCA website at theisca.com. Here you will find the latest champions and a side bar link with a bunch of information, including the rules for competition, awards, sponsor information and of course how to join the ISCA.
2. Click "Join the ISCA" on the sidebar. This will give you the options for membership as well as membership registration options.
3. Determine what type of membership you need. Regular membership, which is about half the cost of competition membership, allows you to compete online and is generally for people who want to show their baby in only a few shows during the year. The competition membership, running under a 100 dollars a year, allows you to compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cash prizes. This is for enthusiasts who travel to 4 or more different kinds of shows during the season.
4. Know that each show has a relatively small entry fee to pay. But also know that the International Show Car Association pays a mileage rate for a show over 100 miles from your home.
5. Click "Join Now" and this will take you to the ISCA secure order system. Alternatively you could call the ISCA at [phone] and provide your credit card information over the phone. The online order form asks about the make and model of your creation for competition members, so be ready to give that information as well.
