When you're on the go and looking for the all-in-one convenience of a cell phone, email, media player, camera, Internet browser and organizer, a Blackberry might be just the tool you need. With a little research, you can find the best way for you to stay connected while you are away from the office.

From Quick Guide: Using a Blackberry
Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check with your current cell phone provider. Since purchasing a Blackberry will require a wireless service contract, go with your current provide if possible. If you're at the end of your contract and want to switch providers, or if you don't currently have a cell phone, check out providers in your area.

  2. Step 2

Do your research. Different providers carry different models, so if you live in a market with more than one provider, you have the perfect opportunity to get exactly what you want without being limited by service plans.

  3. Step 3

Choose your plan. Wireless plans vary by service provider, but as a general rule, the more you pay for month, the more minutes your plan will have.

  4. Step 4

Choose your Blackberry. A consultant at a wireless retail store will be able to show you the differences in each phone. Models vary by screen size, resolution, memory and other features.
