How to Make Different Folders for Pictures on PhotoBucket

Finding a secure website to store your family photos is easy and so is organizing them to be able to share these photos with friends and family. When you follow these directions for the Photobucket photo site, you will find organizing is both easy and fun.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Pictures
  • Scanner

Step1
Take all your family photos that are not already stored on your computer and scan them into your computer.
Step2
Go to the Photobucket website (see Resources below).
Step3
Choose a login name or use your email address as your login name.
Step4
Decide on a password. You will have the option to save this information as a cookie on your personal computer. Be advised that if you are using a public computer do not check the box marked "save me."
Step5
Upload your family photos.
Step6
Find the section labeled "my sub albums."
Step7
Click on the text box to the right of that. Type in the title you want your folder to be called. At this point you can choose to label your folders by date, name, category, and so on.
Step8
Press on the Submit button and you will see your new folder appear under the sub albums category.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use this site as a backup for your precious photos in case anything accidentally happens to your computer.
  • Use this site to share photos with friends and family via the Internet.
