Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Pick your countries or regions of operation. You should have two centers of operations, one that is the source of the foreign brides and the other "domestic" place that connects men to the brides. There is strong demand among unmarried men in many developed countries such as the US and Britain. On the other hand, look to developing countries for a good source of brides.
Step2
Check the legality of the business in both countries. It is essential that you clear your business with the authorities of both countries. Even in countries, like Britain and Thailand, where the service is very popular, you need a lawyer to ensure that you will not be violating any new legislation.
Step3
Start a base of operations in the brides' country. You should have a physical office where potential brides can come in for video interviews and photos. You should also have important media systems in the same location so you can package and post profiles, photos and videos of potential brides for the soon-to-be grooms to see.
Step4
Market and advertise your business. Your marketing should take place on both sides of the business: in the "foreign" country, place posters and newspaper ads informing women of the service. In the "domestic" country, you should get to mainstream media outlets that unmarried older men are likely to get to. A company website is one of the most important outlets, so find a web designer and programmer to get yourself started.
