From Quick Guide: Classic Console Gaming
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Try games online before you buy. If you don't remember which Atari would make the best choices to buy, you can play them online before you decide to buy them. Go to the Classic Consoles website, click on the game you want to try and follow the directions. You can play online with your keyboard.

  2. Step 2

Check to see which version of Atari console you have. While most games can work on all Atari consoles, some may not. Check to see if you have an Atari 2600, Atari 5200 or Atari 7800 and buy the games made especially for your Atari.

  3. Step 3

Buy some games from the Atari Guide website. From the menu at the left, choose your Atari console version for a list of games available. If you do not have an Atari console, you may also purchase one from the website.

  4. Step 4

Search eBay for Atari games. There are many Atari games to bid on and buy on eBay. Search for the specific game you want or choose "Video Games" from the categories menu and then "Atari" to see all the vintage Atari games for sale.

  5. Step 5

Go to the Direct2Drive website to buy downloadable Atari games. From the "PC Games" menu, choose "All PC Games." Look for the Atari games. Direct2Drive offers several packages of Atari games you can download and play on your computer.
