Putting a little pizazz into your summer picnic is easy while hosting a shish kabob picnic. Shish kabobs are an ideal food to have at your summer picnic because they are easy to make, easy to cook and, best of all, easy to eat. Your friends and family will enjoy this event, and it can easily become an annual affair.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Invitations
  • Hamburgers
  • Hot dogs
  • Chicken
  • Grill
Step1
Send out invitations explaining that you are hosting a shish kabob picnic. Ask your family and friends to create their very own shish kabobs to bring to the party.
Step2
Inform the guests that they must experiment with various meats, fruits, vegetables, marinades and seasonings to create their festive shish kabobs. Remind them to marinade the meat overnight for optimum flavor.
Step3
Ask each person attending to bring at least four shish kabobs to the picnic. Let the people that know they don't necessarily have to eat their own creations at the shish kabob picnic. The point of party is to sample other people's kabobs.
Step4
Encourage your friends and family members to get creative with their kabob creations.
Step5
Clear out your refrigerator on the day of the picnic so that you have room to store the kabobs until grilling time.
Step6
Buy hamburgers and hot dogs in case the shish kabobs are not filling enough for each guest. Grilling chicken is also a good idea to supplement the kabobs.
Step7
Enjoy your party, and be sure to taste a variety of the delectable kabobs that everyone presents at the picnic.
