As more people are eating fresher, healthier meals there are foodies emerging all over the country. Cooking classes and clubs are popping up everywhere, too. Whether you are part of a great local cooking club or are starting one yourself, inviting people to join spreads the fun around. Use these steps to learn more about cooking clubs and who to invite to yours.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Know the cooking club target demographic. These are people that love great, healthy meals and enjoy a large variety of foods and flavors. These people should be interested in new recipes and entertaining, as well as providing quick, healthy meals for their family and friends.
Step2
Determine how the invitation process works for your cooking club. Most clubs will allow you to bring someone to a meeting or gathering free to see if they like it. Some clubs are free and some have membership dues.
Step3
Share your experiences and recipes from the cooking club with your foodie friends to get them interested in joining. Show a friend how being a member of a cooking club saves you time and money with recipe exchanges, rotating host meals and other benefits your cooking club may have.
Step4
Post an ad on your favorite social networking site in a group about nutrition or cooking. Do the same for your local newspaper, church newsletter or other print publication.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have a dinner party and use some of the recipes you have gotten from the cooking club and wow them, then mention where you got all the great recipes and information when they congratulate you on the food.
  • Don't push people too much. If they are not interested, move on to the next person.
