How to Use Atomica Cheats

Atomica is a chemical themed computer game that challenges you to make molecules out of different atoms. Although the game doesn't actually require a chemical background, the logic of the game makes becoming a scientific "genius," the highest scorer on the game, a lot more difficult than you might think. If you are having trouble making a scientific breakthrough on Atomica, follow these steps to use helpful cheats.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Get the right version of the game. Check that the version you have is the right one for you machine and for using cheats. Atomica is a relatively old game that has many different versions. Download multiple versions so you can test the cheats out on different editions of the game.
2. Learn the basics of the game and its strategy. Memorize all the mouse movements (the game is controlled entirely with the mouse) and functions of the game so that you can use your cheats effectively. The basic idea is to gather atoms in groups of four or create double molecules by making groups of six. Be aware of the combo factor that multiplies your score as you create a chain of molecules in a row.
3. Use the basic cheats. Atomica's basic cheats are really basic: different numbers on the keyboard produce super atoms, which will increase your score by large factors. Numbers one through five on the keyboard produce a fire atom, a wind atom, an ice atom, an ether atom and a lightning atom, respectively. If you are using an older version, get a newer patch of the game to enable these cheats.
4. Take advantage of the radiation rounds, which are excellent opportunities to score big points and get yourself closer to that "genius" rating you're shooting for. Arrange all the colors into groups on the walls of the screen, being careful not to create a four-group molecule. Then figure out which of the groups can form a molecule without a chromium atom and, finally, make as many four- and six-atom molecules as you can, saving the six-atom molecules for last in order to earn extra points.
