How to Enjoy a NASCAR Race at Gateway International Raceway

NASCAR is both a huge spectator sport with 75 million fans and a merchandise and entertainment empire. Any NASCAR fan knows that the best experience to have is trackside at your favorite speedway. Gateway International Raceway is no different, located minutes from downtown St. Louis. These steps will help you learn how to enjoy a NASCAR weekend at Gateway International Raceway.

1. Buy your tickets one of four ways: online, at the ticket office, by mail or by phone to the ticket office at (866)-35-SPEED.
2. Purchase the $125 Season Ticket Offer. You get great seats to the Busch, Nextel and Craftsman Truck Series races, VIP parking, in-field access and free gift. You are also invited to the autograph party and both after-race contests featuring top music artists. The 2007 season included Tracy Lawrence and Rodney Atkins.
3. Stay in luxury. Stay at the Casino Queen Hotel & Casino for great restaurants, entertainment, gambling and more. Or, stay at the Ramada for the Gateway International Raceway featuring low rates. Either way you will be where the action is.
4. Check out the surroundings. St. Louis is a beautiful city with lots to offer. Visit the Gateway Arch and walk the historic downtown riverfront. Stop by Lacledes Landing and take in some of the Big Muddy Blues Festival or one of their other great events.
5. Meet lots of great people. Always share your experience with those fans around you in the stands. They are going to be great friends by the end of the weekend. Always take the opportunity to get to know other people.
