Things You'll Need:
- Eggs
- Bread
- Juice
- A Serving Tray
- Fruit
- Breakfast Sausage
- Flowers
-
Step 1
The first step is really only knowing what your wife likes and dislikes. As mine is a "Meat and Potatoes" kind of woman I am using that example. But knowledge is the best preparation.
-
Step 2
Pork Breakfast SausageMake 3 or 4 patties of breakfast sausage and place them into a skillet at medium-high heat. Turn them every few minutes to get them evenly brown on both sides.
-
Step 3
Start your eggs. It's a good idea to know how she likes her eggs. My wife likes hers scrambled so it's pretty easy to peg this. Combine 2 eggs, salt and pepper, and a splash of milk in a medium bowl and whisk. Drop one-half tablespoon of butter or margarine in a pan over medium-high heat. Once the butter is completely melted pour in the eggs and let them heat. DO NOT scramble them immediately. This allows the eggs to firm up into larger pieces and makes them easier to get on the fork.
-
Step 4
At the same time your eggs are going put two pieces of bread in the toaster. This should finish around the time your eggs and sausage finish. When it pops up, lightly butter the toast and cover with her favorite jam or jelly. My wife prefers raspberry jam. This could also be an english muffin, a bagel, or crepes if you're talented enough.
-
Step 5
Plate everything together and add some sliced apples, oranges, or a grapefruit half. Pour a glass of Orange Juice, Milk, or a cup of coffee. Make sure you know how she takes her coffee if you take that to her. Hopefully you have one of her favorite flowers handy. You can simply lay it on the tray if you don't have a small vase to put it in.
-
Step 6
Carefully carry the entire tray into the bedroom and wake her with a smile, a kiss, and a good breakfast. It will make the start of her day much, much nicer
