An inexpensive way to help heal acne by using the things in your first aid kit.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • cotton pad and/or q-tip and hydrogen peroxide

Step1
Pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide into the cap or small container.
Step2
*For a concentrated dose to be applied on the wound, use a q-tip.

Dip the cotton swab in the solution enough to wet the cotton tip. Slightly press the cotton swab over the wound and roll it around. If you want an all over cleanse/healing, use a cotton pad. Get the pad slightly moist with the hydrogen peroxide solution and wipe all over face. Let it dry
Step3
Discard an remaining solution and cotton swabs/pad.

Tips & Warnings

  • This can be done several times throughout the day, even those with sensitive skin. I have found success when I do this in the morning after I wash my face but before I apply face lotion, after a workout, and after I wash my face at night. I have pretty sensitive skin and it didn't dry my face out because the hydrogen peroxide treats the acne (whether you went ahead and popped a zit/pimple or not) as any other wound and helps it heal quickly.
  • Be careful not get the hydrogen peroxide solution into you eyes, nose or mouth. If there is slight stinging, it will subside in several seconds, however, do not use if you have had adverse or allergic reactions when using on other cuts/wounds on the body
