  1. Step 1

    Goto your favorite Search Engine such as www.google.com, www.msn.com, or www.yahoo.com.

  2. Step 2

    Type a phrase in the search box such as "best cd rates", "jumbo cd rates", or "compare cd rates"

  3. Step 3

    Review offers from the various sites and contact the institutions and/or sites with the rates you are interested in.

Tips & Warnings
  • FDIC and NCUA insured CDs are insured by the US Federal Government up to $100,000 for a personal or corporate account and $250,000 for an IRA.
  • Ask for the rate (APR) and yield (APY).
  • Verify that the CD is FDIC (banks) or NCUA (credit unions) insured.
