  2. Step 2

    Call several charter companies to get information on packages and pricing. Decide on the package that best meets your needs and make reservations.

  3. Step 3

    Make reservations for holidays and weekends well in advance. Make all reservations in advance since salmon season runs from the middle of June just until Labor Day.

    Dress in warm, layered clothing. Wear a waterproof layer on the outside to keep dry. Wear deck shoes.

    Bring along rain gear just in case. Bring waterproof shoes, pants and jackets. A rain hat is advisable if the jacket does not have a hood.
