Things You'll Need:
- Alberto VO5 hair spray
- Plastic bag
- Plant
- Clean cloth for blotting
- Sunday newspaper
-
Step 1
Kill plant lice on African violets. Don't spray the Alberto VO5 hair spray directly on the plant. Instead, spray it into a plastic bag, place it over the plant and secure it shut.
-
Step 2
Thread a needle more easily. Spray the end of a thread and then slide it through your fingers until it is flat and the fibers are stuck together. You are now ready for that tiny opening in the needle.
-
Step 3
Make flower arrangements last longer. Baby's breath, cattail and broom grass, to name a few, keep better with a thin coat of hair spray on them.
-
Step 4
Stop flying insects by spraying them with the Alberto VO5 hair spray as they swarm around you. The hair spray will dry hard, making the use of their wings impossible. You'll soon see them dropping out of the sky.
-
Step 5
Remove ink stains from clothing and skin. Spray the ink-stained area and blot with a clean cloth until the stain is lifted. Wash as usual.
-
Step 6
Protect the freshly polished finish of brass or copper. Once you have cleaned copper or brass, add a protective coating of Alberto VO5 hair spray to slow down the tarnishing process.
-
Step 7
Make newspaper wrapping papers. Choose the section that you want to use--comics or news, whatever looks decorative to you. Spray the paper to seal the ink and give a nice gloss to the finish, then wrap.
