High school class reunions are all about the memories, remembering old times and making new memories. Help your guests get reacquainted by decorating the reunion location with some old photos and stir up the memories. Ask your guests for help collecting photos before the reunion and find different fun ways to display them.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pictures
  • Tag board
  • Computer
  • Scanner
  • Photo slide show program
  • Projector
  • Mascot costume
  • Camera
  • Old yearbooks
  1. Step 1

Keep decorations meaningful to the classmates who attend the reunion. Use photos, songs and mementos from high school days.

  2. Step 2

Make a display with photos from classmates or the year books. Scan and copy the photos and attach them to one or more large pieces of tag board that can be displayed around the reunion location.

  3. Step 3

Create a photo video that can be shown throughout the reunion. Use a slide show computer program to make a video with photos you collect from classmates or the yearbook. Find a large screen projector that can be set up in an area of the reunion where the slide show can be fed repeatedly.

  4. Step 4

Hire the school mascot to make an appearance at the high school reunion. Have the mascot mingle and set up a place to take pictures with all the classmates and their partners.

  5. Step 5

Display yearbooks on all the tables. They make good conversation starters for classmates who haven't seen each other in years and don't know what to talk about.

  6. Step 6

Remember any classmates that have passed away with a memorial display in a separate area of the reunion location. Find photos of the classmates and include any memorable moments or items that meant a lot to them and others.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put a note in the reunion invitations asking for memorable photos.
  • Make sure the mascot can stick around to strut his stuff on the dance floor.
  • Ask classmates to send in current photos of them and their families to include in a photo display.
  • Don't leave anyone out of the photo displays. Try to include at least one photo of every classmate, whether they plan to attend the reunion or not.
