How to Host a Victorian Tea Party

Tips & Warnings
Mix and match china patterns if you don't have a full set. It will still look decadent and beautiful.
Cut glass is a pretty and affordable alternative to authentic crystal.
Serve all food on silver platters or cut glass trays. Line each serving tray with paper lace doilies and garnish with edible flowers, such as violets and nasturtiums.
Victorians never placed flowers on their dining table during meals. They did not want the fragrant blossoms competing with the aromas of the food.
