Instructions

    • 1

Create a unique marketing campaigns where you have a higher chance of getting noticed. When working on mail pieces think about unique size, color or shape. When working on e-mail think about appealing photos, unique templates and limited text. For other forms of media think about campaigns that you have noticed, don't copy them but think about what it is that made you notice it. Then try to create it in a new way for your own organization.

Make it fun. Your prospective customers are more likely to notice your marketing campaigns if they are fun. People love to participate in activities so work to create a campaign with elements of fun that allow for that participation.

    • 3

Personalize your marketing campaign. People love to see their names or business names in print. When you personalize your campaign you have a much higher chance of it being noticed.

    • 4

Create consistency across several media forms. Campaigns that get noticed are not simply an e-mail, newspaper ad, letter or other mass media format. Campaigns that get noticed often include several types of media. Think about what makes sense for your market and your budget. It often makes sense to follow a direct mail with an e-mail. Likewise television and newspaper are great complements. To get noticed you need to work to create awareness about what you are marketing in more than one medium so people can more easily recall and remember the campaign.
