Instructions

    • 1

Design a layout. Evaluate your area to design a beautiful path or patio area.

    • 2

Stencil your designed path or area with chalk or non-hazardous spray paint.

    • 3

Measure the approximate square feet of designed area. This will help you configure how much cobblestone you will need to purchase.

    • 4

Purchase cobblestone from your local hardware store.

    • 5

Dig approximately two or three inches until you have good solid earth.

    • 6

Excavate, compact and level the ground. Remove debris or other natural restrictions such as rocks, weeds or branches. Level your area by making the ground as flat as possible.

    • 7

Add a layer of sand. Smooth the layer of sand until it is level. The sand will help keep any shifting of the earth from disrupting your path and keep it level and even. Without a layer of sand then your path will end up uneven.

    • 8

      Lay cobblestones in designed layout.

    • 9

Add grout or filler between the stones.

    • 10

Enjoy the new feature of cobblestone to your area.
