Leadership qualities are characteristics that one is born with. If you have the ability to lead, it's an important responsibility. Some employers use a leadership exam to determine who has the potential to stand out in their organization. You might not be able to control whether or not you're a leader, but you can control how successful you are on a leadership test.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Find a practice test. There are several websites where you can find free downloads of leadership exams. On most of these sites, the leadership exam is available for free.
Step2
Take the practice test. These exams offer on-screen directions that are easy to follow. Some tests are taken by selecting a multiple choice option online; then your score will appear at the end. Other tests are designed to be printed out and taken that way.
Step3
Consider your personality. There are 15 different categories of leadership, from diligence and persistence to ambition and versatility. More than likely, you are a combination of several different leadership categories.
Step4
Determine the kind of leader you are, and think carefully about your good and bad qualities. That will help you determine the kind of leader you want to be.
Step5
Practice your answers. Employers look for confidence when they ask questions. You'll have more confidence if you already have an idea of what you'll say.
Step6
Devise a mock test. Take the practice tests you found online, and have a friend compile a list of questions. That helps you come up with the answers on the spot.
