Auditors are trained to spot potential problems before they turn into a huge mess. They're found in many different fields. Some work internally for companies, while others are third party auditors. Becoming an auditor requires the right education and the right scores on the auditing exam. But with a few guidelines, you'll have no trouble passing the test.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Find your study area. Most experts recommend the study area be quiet and free of distractions, but other people say they study best when there is noise in the background. Determine your preference and find the atmosphere that makes you most comfortable.
Step2
Gather your materials and make your study area comfortable for you. Keeping the room at a comfortable temperature can actually improve your concentration. Also, keep your supplies handy so they're readily available.
Step3
Review your materials. From the textbook to class notes, material on the test can come from many sources. Look over items that your professor emphasized in class, and determine what's most important.
Step4
Combine your materials into a short study guide. Some people create flash cards that they can carry with them. Other people simply type out the important information.
Step5
Form a study group. You already have something in common with the group--the desire to pass the test. The group can work together to create ways of remembering the material. You can also take turns quizzing each other about information in your study guide.
Step6
Take a break if you begin to feel stressed. Experts say it's better to pause and come back to the books than to try and work through the stress.
Step7
Sleep. Depriving yourself of rest is a sure way to forget the information at test time.
Step8
Review your materials one last time. Before the test, refresh your memory on the topics you struggle with.
