Easter is a wonderful day to share with family and special friends, but some family members may miss this happy celebration. Start a tradition of making an annual Easter photo book to share your holiday photos with everyone.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Choose a number of your favorite Easter pictures for the photo book. Include pictures of your family members participating in different Easter activities. Make sure you include everyone.

  2. Step 2

Make covers for the photo book from heavy cardboard. You can make the photo book to any size. Decide how many photos you want to put on each page. Cut your photo book covers 1/2 inch longer and wider than the photo layout.

  3. Step 3

Use decorative fabric to cover the cardboard covers. Fabric in colors that suggest an Easter theme is ideal. Cut the fabric a bit larger than the cardboard so you can fold it over the edges of the cardboard. Attach the fabric to the cardboard with spray adhesive, being sure to secure the folded edges to the inside of each cover.

  4. Step 4

Cut pieces of colored paper the same size as the Easter photo book covers. Be sure to use festive, Easter colors such as pale pinks, blue, lavender and yellow.

  5. Step 5

Lay the Easter pictures onto each piece of paper and attach them with archival-quality double-sided tape or glue. Add a caption to each page to tell the story of your Easter holiday.

  6. Step 6

Utilize a hole punch to punch a hole into each page and the covers. You can do one, two or three holes depending on the size of your book. Make sure the holes on the covers and the pages align.

  7. Step 7

String ribbon through the holes of the covers and pages to assemble the book. Tie the ribbon into a tight knot and finish with a bow for a decorate touch.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can glue an 8-inch length of ribbon to the middle edge of the front cover and another one to the middle edge of the back cover. This way you can tie the Easter photo book shut.
  • Finish the inside of each cover with a sheet of colored paper, using spray adhesive to tack it on and cover the raw edges of the fabric.
