Step1
Look for snowboarding magazines at your favorite bookstore or newsstand. Depending on where you live, you may not find such magazines readily available. If that is the case, you may have to subscribe to a snowboarding magazine or check out the collection at your local library or sports shop.
Step2
Research ski and snowboarding resorts online. A quick search will reveal thousands of options for snowboarding locations. Many of the online snowboarding websites will rate locations throughout the world as being among the best. Keep in mind that this information may be either objective or subjective. Rankings on locations with the best terrain park, steepest inclines, most challenging slopes or other related information will be objective and give statistics based on that information. If you are looking for subjective opinions, check out information from Olympic snowboarders to see where their favorite places may be.
Step3
Contact a snowboard instructor or a friend who is into snowboarding. Based on their experiences and those of other people they know, they may be able to give some helpful hints that you might not get from an information website.
Step4
Request information from well-known ski resort areas to see recommendations for the best snowboarding experience. The Chamber of Commerce or tourist welcome centers can offer brochures or pamphlets on fine area attractions.
