How to Use Bloglines

Bloglines is a free web-based service that allows its subscribers access to news and information that is of interest to them. After you select the information you want, Bloglines searches various newsfeeds for the information to which you've subscribed and adds it to your personal page.

Instructions

Register With Bloglines

1. Sign up at the Bloglines website, create an account, and check your e-mail for the verification.

2. Click on the "Feeds" tab. The Bloglines default feed will be there.

3. Decide how you want to subscribe to your feeds.

Subscribe Using XML

4. Go to Content Robot, and find the XML icon. Right-click on the icon, and copy it.

5. Go back to Bloglines, and click the "Add Link" tab.

6. Paste the link into the "Subscribe" box, and click "Subscribe."

7. Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary page, and click "Subscribe" again.

Subscribe Using URL

8. Open a new window, go to Tune Vroom, and copy the URL by right-clicking.

9. Go back to Bloglines, and click the "Add Link" tab.

10. Paste the link into the "Subscribe" box, and click "Subscribe."

11. Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary.

12. Open a new window, go to MacVroom, and click on "Sub/bloglines."

13. Click "Subscribe" on the next page.

14. See your feeds listed on the left panel.

Add Feeds With the Directory

15. Click the "Directory" tab, and choose a listing on the page.

16. Click "Subscribe."

17. Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary.

• You can search for something specific in the "Search All Blogs" section.
