Bloglines is a free web-based service that allows its subscribers access to news and information that is of interest to them. After you select the information you want, Bloglines searches various newsfeeds for the information to which you've subscribed and adds it to your personal page.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Register With Bloglines

Step1
Sign up at the Bloglines website, create an account, and check your e-mail for the verification.
Step2
Click on the "Feeds" tab. The Bloglines default feed will be there.
Step3
Decide how you want to subscribe to your feeds.

Subscribe Using XML

Step1
Go to Content Robot, and find the XML icon. Right-click on the icon, and copy it.
Step2
Go back to Bloglines, and click the "Add Link" tab.
Step3
Paste the link into the "Subscribe" box, and click "Subscribe."
Step4
Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary page, and click "Subscribe" again.

Subscribe Using URL

Step1
Open a new window, go to Tune Vroom, and copy the URL by right-clicking.
Step2
Go back to Bloglines, and click the "Add Link" tab.
Step3
Paste the link into the "Subscribe" box, and click "Subscribe."
Step4
Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary.

Subscribe Using the Bloglines Icon

Step1
Open a new window, go to MacVroom, and click on "Sub/bloglines."
Step2
Click "Subscribe" on the next page.
Step3
See your feeds listed on the left panel.

Add Feeds With the Directory

Step1
Click the "Directory" tab, and choose a listing on the page.
Step2
Click "Subscribe."
Step3
Scroll to the bottom of your subscription summary.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can search for something specific in the "Search All Blogs" section.
