How to Roll R's
Rolled R's are a foundation of many foreign languages. Spanish devotes an entire letter of the alphabet to the sound. It requires a mastery of the tongue and control over your airflow. Some people have difficulty learning how to trill, but a little practice goes a long way.

1
Train your tongue. It sounds silly, but limbering up your tongue helps achieve the relaxed control you need to roll your R's. Fold your tongue over itself, wiggle it from side-to-side and make circular motions. Practice holding your tongue taught while keeping the tip relaxed.

2
Think about what sounds similar to a rolled R. Make noises like you are revving an engine or performing a drum roll. The way the air passes through your mouth during these exercises is similar to how it feels rolling your R's.

3
Place the tip of your tongue behind your top front teeth, where the teeth meet the gums. The vibration of the tip of your tongue produces the rolling sound, so figuring out where to place your tongue is extremely important. Note how your tongue feels in this resting position.

4
Breathe out from the back of your throat, forcing air to pass through your tongue. Maintain the position of the tongue from Step 2. Let the bottom of your tongue brush against the back of your front teeth while keeping the tip as relaxed as possible.

5
Practice saying words that utilize the rolled R. Spanish words with a double R are pronounced correctly by trilling.

Tips & Warnings
Try adding a T or D sound before the R if you are having trouble. Those sounds will naturally position your mouth the way it should be to roll your R's.
