How to Pick Up Cougars

While many middle-aged women are rocking their grand babies or just starting their families, there is another set that's out prowling for younger men. If you're a younger man, and have an affection for the older women (around 35- to 45-years old) know as "cougars," keep in mind that most of them aren't in the mood for a long-term relationship.

Instructions

1. Scope out local cougar dens like neighborhood bars, gyms or look online at MySpace or eHarmony. View profiles of some cougars at the Cougar Date website. Some dens are listed by state on the Urban Cougars website.

2. Remember that cougars are mature, independent women and they usually look for young men who are confident, not whiny and clingy.

3. Make eye contact with your cougar of choice. Learn to read her body language. She's going to be a little more bold than your college girl so just go all out and take a chance: talk to her. Cougars are a lot more easy to approach than teeny-boppers.

4. Prepare to walk away from her. Most cougars aren't looking for exclusive relationships and will be happy to keep seeing you as long as you don't get serious. Think short term.

5. Have fun. Most cougars are intelligent, sex-savvy women many of whom are past child-bearing years and are ready to have fun.
