Choose the sanding stick that fits your needs. There are several types, each with advantages and disadvantages. Some sanding sticks look like a pen with a flat chiseled end and a rounded end, and have a mini-belt of sandpaper that fits around it. The loop can be shifted forward or backward for continuous new sandpaper. The other style has a tapered sanding surface, making it look a great deal like a miniature pie cutter, which has a flat side and a rounded side on the other.
