You have taken the plunge and decided to start a direct sales business. But, now you are wondering what to do next. There are many possible ways to launch your direct sales business, but some will allow you to start off more lucratively than others.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Buy and use the products that are offered through your business. This is an important step because you need to understand what you are promoting and asking people to buy. Hopefully you will really enjoy the products and become passionate about them, as that will make it easier to sell them.
Step2
Alert your family and friends about your new business. Although they may be reluctant to join as a downline (someone who signs up to promote the products under you,) most will happily be your first customers, even if for only small purchases. And who knows, they may love the products they purchase enough to try additional products and become a regular customer.
Step3
Create a website that features products offered by your direct sales business. Aside from selling products, this will be a great way to reach out-of-state downline and expand your business beyond the parameters of your town, something that would be difficult to do otherwise.
Step4
Put your contact information and website's URL in the signature portion of all of your emails and forum posts.
Step5
Schedule your first home party and hang flyers to invite others around your community to attend. If you can find someone to be a hostess and invite her own friends, even better! Home parties are a great way to get sales and maybe sign a downline or two as well.
