How to Collect Fairies

Even if you aren't yet a fairy collector, you probably remember reading about or watching one of the world's most famous fairies, "Tinkerbell," help Peter Pan and his crew in their adventures. Fairies have long been a part of myth and lore as tiny creatures who have tremendous strength on account of their purity. Follow these steps to start or enhance your own collection of beautiful collectible fairies.

  1. Step 1

    Decide on what kind of collection you want. There are many reasons for collecting fairies. Some people collect for reasons of nostalgia, others want something to pass to future generations and some people even collect fairies to make a little bit of money. Think about why you want to collect fairies so you can properly mold your fairy collection.

  2. Step 2

    Buy from fairy stores. A number of stores and companies sell different kinds of fairy collectibles. Stores such as GardenFairy.com sell all manners of fairy from the playful to the well-known to even religiously-inspired fairy collectible. Dedicated fairy stores also have mailing lists and updates lists of tips so you can stay up to date about fairy collecting.

  3. Step 3

    Collect a specific collection. If you're a little bit of a purist, you can focus your fairy collecting on specific lines of collectibles. on 10/27/2007 Some great places to check out are metaphysical stores, and even garden stores.
Amy Brown has a fairy statue set that are for planters, and therefore end up in garden stores!

Find types you like, whether it's darker, like Amy Brown, or really cutesy.

Even stores like Hallmark and ones of that type often have fairy statues, even some made of glass.
