How to Explain Cross Dressing to a Fiancée

Some men enjoy wearing women's clothing. It doesn't mean he's gay or crazy. Most cross-dressers are normal, heterosexual men with families. Although, it may be difficult to tell the woman you love that you enjoy wearing her clothing, it is something that shouldn't be kept secret. Any relationship built on a lie can eventually crumble.

1. Tell your fiancée as soon as possible that you cross-dress. It won't be easy, but the longer you wait, the more difficult it will become.

2. Explain to her that you are the same person she fell in love with no matter whether you're wearing a dress or a football jersey.

3. Allow her time to reflect. It may be shocking and confusing for her at first. It may take her time to remember that you are still the same man she fell in love with.

4. Ask a close family member or friend to help you explain to her that cross-dressing is just a preference and doesn't affect your ability to be a good husband, father and man.

5. Understand how she feels and realize that she may not be able to accept this side of you. However, you need to tell your fiancée before she becomes your wife.
