Sport red, white and blue with a patriotic party. As you fly your flag in commemorative patriotic pride, invite your friends or family over for a unique celebration and party gathering. A Patriotic Themed Party is a fun way to celebrate a historic milestone such as 4th of July or Labor Day, or simply a fun way to get together.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Create a patriotic invitation to send to your guest list. You can use a store bought invite, create and design one or make one from scratch with paper and decorations. Send your invitation 1 to 2 weeks before party to ensure that your guests can put it on their calendar if they are available.

  2. Step 2

Invite your guests to arrive at your patriotic party as a true historian or patriotic style. Encourage them to dress in red, white and blue or dress as a favorite president or famous person in history. An example of this could be President Lincoln or Rosa Park. Get creative with your host or hostess costume to make your look original and unique to that of your guests.

  3. Step 3

Create an atmosphere of red, white and blue by using flags, streamers or balloons. Also coordinate your table settings and accessories to go along with your theme.

  4. Step 4

Serve food that will compliment your patriotic theme. Red or blue punch would be a fun splash of color and is available in a variety of recipe options. Be creative in your menu. Try food that goes with your colored theme of red, white and blue. You can also add food coloring to some items to help make them look more unique to your theme. 5. Step 5

Let the fun begin! Encourage your guests to mingle and enjoy their time. You can also have board games or out door fun. Keeping the party alive with fun games or activities will prompt your guests to stay and enjoy the patriotic fun.
