How to Host a Winnie the Pooh Party for Kids

That "stuffy, little fluffy ol' bear" with the soft familiar voice has been cherished since October 14, 1926. Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin have become best friends with children all around the world. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Send invitations to Pooh guests. Have your guests dress in Winnie the Pooh attire and bring their own cuddly Pooh bear.

    • 2

Get party decorations, favors and tableware. Use Pooh themed tablecloths, napkins, plates, cups and hats. Hang a Pooh banner and use streamers in primary colors for background accents. Hang a Winnie the Pooh poster and bees on the walls.

    • 3

Make up party games. Enlarge a picture of Eeyore and tape it to the wall. Since he is always losing his tail it's fun to play pin the tail on Eeyore. Have each child color pre-made cut outs of balloons and attach a string to each one. Arrange them all together on the wall to make a big balloon bouquet and have a child stand in front of it to take a picture.

    • 4

Play "What's in My Honey Pot?" Use a container that looks like a honey jar and put things inside of it. Have the children put their hand inside without looking to guess what the objects are.

    • 5

Serve Winnie the Pooh cookbook recipe ideas like "poohnut butter" and jelly smackerels and Rabbit's garden veggies with a delicious dip. Don't forget a honey cake.

    • 6

Use classic Pooh songs from Disney to play musical chairs. Hang a Pooh pinata and fill it with candies made from honey.

    • 7

Wind down the day and have the moms take turns reading from the loved Pooh's children's books. Let all of the children rest on a Pooh blanket while it is story time. Hand out the children's favors like Pooh pencils, pads and stickers.
