One way to travel the globe is to get a job in a foreign country. Teaching English abroad is a great way to travel, get paid and help other people at the same time. Here's what you need to know if you think you'd like to teach English in Russia.

Step1
Have a college degree. Although there is a strong need for English teachers in Russia, there is almost no need for candidates without at least a college diploma. Most institutions in Russia prefer candidates who have a teaching certificate or experience. They also prefer teachers who have business degrees.
Step2
Decide where in Russia you would like to teach. You could teach in a school for children or a charter school for adults. You could teach in Moscow, or you could teach in the country.
Step3
Search online job boards. Some links for charter schools and other private schools are at the end of this article. Of course, you could always find different options by searching for an English teaching job in your favorite search engine.
Step4
Contact the Russian Embassy in the U.S. You never know when a new program might come up, and then you can apply for an English teaching job through the government.
